These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of GoFix's services. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
GoFix connects customers with qualified tradespeople including plumbers, electricians, handymen, pest control specialists, locksmiths, and gas engineers. We facilitate the booking process and provide estimates for callout fees and job durations.
3. Pricing
Callout fees are displayed upfront and vary based on urgency:
- Urgent: £150–£250+
- Today: £80–£150
- This week: £60–£110
The callout fee is separate from the job price, which will be quoted by the professional after assessing your specific requirements.
4. Booking and Cancellation
When you book a service, we will match you with a nearby professional who will contact you to confirm details. You may cancel your booking, but cancellation fees may apply depending on timing and the professional's cancellation policy.
5. Professional Services
All professionals on our platform are vetted and qualified for their respective trades. However, GoFix acts as a booking platform and is not responsible for the quality of work performed by third-party professionals. Any disputes regarding work quality should be addressed directly with the professional.
6. Payment
Payment is made directly to the professional upon completion of the work. GoFix may charge a service fee in addition to the callout fee and job price. All prices are in British Pounds (GBP).
7. Limitation of Liability
GoFix's liability is limited to the callout fee paid. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the services provided by professionals booked through our platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
